Entra nella fotogallery » Dedicato agli sportivi, a coloro che cercano un viaggio diverso e immerso nella realtà della terra scelta, per coloro che amano correre, il Primo Kenya Highlands Race è un sogno degli sportivi e degli amanti dell'Africa che unisce lo sport a una vacanza davvero originale, fuori da tutti gli schemi.
Dal 9 al 16 agosto 2009 è possibile scoprire l'Africa correndo, il Kenya Highlands Race è infatti la prima corsa a tappe sugli altopiani del Kenya: 4 tappe di 13, 24, 15 e 21 Km da Nanyuki, cittadina alle pendici del Monte Kenya, fino alle Thompson’s Falls a Nyahururu, città natale del campione olimpico 2008 di maratona Samuel Wanjiru.
Un paese interamente da scoprire e ammirare come l'Africa non potrà che affascinare i fortunati corridori che potranno godere dei luoghi meravigliosi dell'equatore, viaggiando sui loro piedi.
L’associazione Run&Travel in collaborazione con African Explorer, riesce oggi ad offrire questo sogno, aperto agli atleti italiani e ai corridori locali, un'occasione unica per poter scoprire quella “Vera Africa” tanto letta e descritta.
Quattro tappe che sapranno sicuramente accontentare anche i cuori più avventurosi e esigenti, e per concludere al meglio questa singolare vacanza non poteva mancare uno speciale safari nel Nakuru National Park, infine le visite verranno scelte dagli stessi viaggiatori che potranno così decidere di ammirare i più bei parchi dal Maasai Mara all’Amboseli , o di dedicarsi al relax sulle magnifiche spiagge dell’Oceano Indiano.

My best friend Marco came at the Club invited by Checco, there was a jam and music and nice drinks, the night was very interesting as many peoples love jazz as we do and the guys played with swing and charme, old Bolognese as Nardo Giardina, Cicci Foresti where there !!!!!!

Shimba Hills
Approximately 700 elephants live on the reserve along with leopards and abundant birdlife.
Guided forest walks are available from the Sheldrick Falls ranger station. There is a swimming hole and picnic area at the scenic Sheldrick Falls on the Machenmwana River.
Shimba Rainforest Lodge is located within Shimba Hills National Reserve. It is a Treetops style lodge with a walkway through the rainforest, viewing platform and a baited water hole that attracts a lot of wildlife.
